How does the Vivant ProPeel work?
The ProPeel has a combination of lactic, salicylic, and citric acids plus trichloracetic acid (TCA) combined with natural moisturizers. It removes dead skin cells and stimulates cell regeneration, collagen and elastin growth in the deeper layers of the skin.
What are the benefits?

Can ProPeel be used on all skin types?
ProPeel can be safely used on all skin types and tones. However, the procedure may need to be modified for darker complexions by lengthening the preconditioning time and incorporating Vivant's Bleaching cream or Bleaching Forte Serum into your skin care regimen.
Can ProPeel be used on the body?
Yes. However, the thicker skin of the hands and arms will not react as fast as facial skin so we recommend preconditioning with Clear Body Therapy, applying more coats of the peel and more frequent professional treatments to obtain striking results.
Can I have a peel if I am prone to Herpes labialis?
People with frequent perioral Herpes labialis (Herpes simplex; Cold sore; Fever blister) should consult their physician before the peel as they may need a prescription for antiviral medication.
​Can I have a ProPeel if I am pregnant or if I am nursing?No. Wait until after you deliver or complete nursing to treat yourself to a ProPeel.Can I have a ProPeel if I am using Accutane?No. The skin doesn't heal as well when undergoing Accutane therapy. Wait two months after you have completed your course of Accutane to have a ProPeel.
What should I do before the ProPeel?
For optimal results, precondition with Vivant's home care products recommended by your Skin care therapist.
What does my skin look like after ProPeel?
Immediately after the ProPeel, the skin may look sunburned. The next day it may appear darker and feel tight. On days 2-3 the skin will start to peel. By days 5-7, the skin will have completely finished the peel. Proper post-peel care is critical. You must use the Vivant Prokare HomeKare Kit.
Can I wear makeup immediately after a ProPeel?
Yes, but first hydrate the skin with your Vivant moisturizers to mat down the peeling; then, you will be able to use your makeup. This flaking is temporary and the skin will return to normal in 5-7 days.
Can I go in the sun after a ProPeel?
Yes. but you must protect your new skin with Day Treatment Lotion SPF 15 and protective clothing when exposed to the sun. Protecting your skin with a moisturizing sunscreen is an integral part of all Vivant regimens.
Can I have a ProPeel if I am using Vitamin A products?
Yes. Conditioning the skin with Vitamin A for several weeks prior to having a ProPeel is an important step in achieving the most effective results. Be sure to tell your skin care professional if you are using Vitamin A. Your skin care professional may request that you discontinue the Vitamin A for a short time before the peel if your skin is peeling excessively.
How often can I have a ProPeel?
The ProPeel is done every 4 to 8 weeks for people with sun damaged skin, acne problems, or uneven pigment. A series of 4 to 6 ProPeels is recommended for maximum effectiveness. The more ProPeels you have, the better your complexion will appear.
